Dr. Delilah Toledo
I would like to introduce you to Dr. Delilah “Dee” Toledo. I met Dee when we worked together at a private practice in the San Fernando Valley in the late 1990’s. Back then, she was an aspiring Dental Assistant with big dreams. The gleam in her eyes and her peaked interest in dentistry gave me good indication of her future success.
Soon after, she graduated from California State University, Northridge and was accepted to the top-ranked Dental School at University of California, San Francisco. At UCSF, Dee involved herself in helping underserved communities and developed her dental skills in the process. She volunteered at the school’s dental clinic as well as several free clinics in the San Francisco Bay Area helping low-income families.
We were all proud of Dee when she received her D.D.S. degree in 2006. Dr. Dee has been practicing as a General Dentist in the San Fernando Valley since then. Last year, I was able to convince her to periodically volunteer at the Simi Valley Dental Clinic, where she was exposed to the Simi Valley Community. I realized how much she enjoyed working with the residents of Simi Valley and asked her to join my practice.
Dr. Dee continues her efforts to assist low-income families and targets the Latino community in Simi Valley. Her Hispanic background and grasp of the Spanish language makes her a perfect fit.
Dr. Dee and her husband spend much of their free time raising their two sons, Thomas (4 yrs.), and Andrew (3 yrs.). They enjoy outdoor activities and spend much of the summer at parks and beaches.
Professionally, Dr Dee is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the San Fernando Dental Society. She keeps up with the latest Dental technologies and is a regular at Dental Conventions.
