Updates from Dr. Yaftaly
Effective October 1, 2022 we will no longer be a contracted provider in Delta Dental’s network.
While this was a difficult decision, we believe this is what is best for our practice and our patients. The good news is that you can still remain a patient in our practice and we will continue to verify, explain and maximize your dental benefits. Best of all, you will receive the same high level of care that you have come to expect. If you choose to seek dental care from a new dentist, we will be happy to provide a copy of your patient record.
What does this mean for you as a patient?
1. We are still committed to providing dental care for your family. However, depending on your plan chosen by you or your employer, you may experience higher co-pays than in the past. You are still welcome to continue your care at our office, and we will file your claims.
2. You may be able to switch your employer plan to another company. Contact your HR company about open enrollment options for the future. We are still in network with plenty of other insurance carriers.
3. You could use our in-house discount plan instead of Delta Dental to have more control of your dental care decisions without Delta’s current restrictions.
If you have questions about your benefits and access to providers, you may wish to talk with your employer’s benefits manager, as they determine these matters.
We are dedicated to providing quality care to our patients. We hope we can continue to be of service to you. Please call Suzanne, our administrative assistant, to inform our office of your decision.
FAQs
DELTA will be sending you a letter in the mail when this transition occurs. DO NOT let Delta make you think that you cannot remain a patient at our office. We are still filing claims for our Delta patients, however, there will be some changes to how co-pays are required for your visits in the future. Feel free to contact our office if you need any assistance in understanding your insurance plan.
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding during this time. We appreciate your flexibility and feedback as we move forward together. As always, if you have any questions please give us a call.
